The Operational Alliance Launches the Hearing Rehabilitation and Cochlear Implant Program
For the sake of providing quality medical services and alleviating the challenges faced by individuals with special needs, particularly those not readily available or accessible in northwest Syria, and supporting the rights of persons with disabilities for getting equal opportunities, the Operational Alliance between the Syrian Civil Defense and Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support, in collaboration and coordination with Idlib Health Directorate, announces the launch of the first phase of the Hearing Rehabilitation and Cochlear Implant Program.
The initial phase will target 40 beneficiaries, and cases will be identified through screening centers, subsequently, diagnostic hearing tests will be conducted, leading to interventions at the Hearing Rehabilitation and Cochlear Implant Center for the installation of hearing devices or cochlear implant surgeries.
Parents of children are kindly requested to share information about their children’s cases through the following link:

Important Note:
It is important to mention that the number of cases with special needs is significant and exceeds our capacity to address them fully. Therefore, priority will be given to cases of cochlear implantation that meet the criteria, especially for younger children, based on the names provided by Idlib Health Directorate. Please note that registration does not guarantee eligibility.
With best wishes of continued health and well-being.
