Moments of Determination and Hope in Physical Therapy Sessions at the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Aden

In the physical therapy rooms of the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Aden, Yemen, scenes that capture the meaning of determination unfold every day. Children stand on their feet again and take steps that grow steadier day by day, surrounded by the encouragement of specialists and the smiles of parents filled with joy and gratitude.
Physical therapy sessions are an essential part of a child’s mobility rehabilitation journey. They help strengthen muscles, improve balance, and train the body to move with a prosthetic limb or to regain movement after an injury. Progress may seem slow at first, but perseverance and continuous support turn daily challenges into tangible achievements, and every step becomes a small success story worth telling.
These humanitarian services are provided as part of the project to operate the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Aden Governorate, funded and generously supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, under the supervision of the Therapeutic Medicine Sector at the Ministry of Public Health and Population of the Republic of Yemen. This cooperation helps provide specialized care that gives children a real chance to regain their mobility and return to daily life with greater confidence.
Alameen Organization continues to support these humanitarian efforts, believing that every child has the right to move, learn, play, and live with dignity. Every therapy session and every new step reflects renewed hope, and confirms that joint humanitarian work can make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.
