Supporting orphans in Al-Mahra

The orphan support project in Yemen works to ensure the self-reliance of orphans, protect their dignity and facilitate their effective participation in society, and reduce any form of harm or discrimination against them, and accordingly, “KS Relief” supports this project with strong steps and increasing interest.

Within the activities of this project, supporting orphans in Al-Mahra in Yemen continues, as health care services are provided, a financial sponsorship, a bag of clothing and psychological support services are distributed, and the follow-up of education in schools is facilitated for orphaned children. During last March, a cash sponsorship for the month of March was distributed to nearly 300 orphan children, either by handing it at the association’s headquarters, or through field representatives who deliver sponsorship to families residing in remote and difficult-to-reach places.

About 300 children were also examined at the center, which was contracted for this purpose, and the necessary examinations were conducted and medicines were dispensed. About 15 children were examined daily, with follow-up of cases of children who had chronic diseases, and referring them to specialized doctors according to the case, as well psychological support activities were implemented targeting all orphaned children, where a psychological support team was present, with the choice of a suitable place, targeted mental and movement activities, motivational competitions, and the distribution of symbolic gifts for children.

Within the project of supporting orphans in Al-Mahra, a bag of clothes was distributed to 300 orphans, and this was done by contracting with a commercial contractor who fully provided the measurements for all children, and field representatives visited remote areas in this regard to take the sizes first, then to distribute clothes secondly, which required effort exceptionally done by the project team.





Nutritional awareness in Al-Bab

Within its various activities in health care, psychological and community awareness, the mobile clinics of “Al-Bab” health center which supported by “Al-Ameen” for humanitarian support continue their activities in the countryside surrounding the city of “Al-Bab”, especially awareness campaigns on several important topics related to the conditions of beneficiaries in those far areas.

Recently, one of the mobile clinics of the “Al-Bab” Center held a session on nutritional awareness in Al-Bab, specifically in the village of “Al-Borj”, to familiarize the families residing there with the basics of healthy, healthy nutrition for children.

The session topics revolved around malnutrition and diseases that the child suffers from, such as delayed growth and atrophy, in addition to giving instructions about the foods that the child should receive. The session was accompanied by the implementation of therapeutic mobile campaigns for children, and some children were also treated and the causes of the lack of correct development were revealed.






Al-Ameen Organization has signed an agreement with the Free Aleppo University

Economic crises, continuous displacement in Syria, aside from the destroyed killing machine all 10 years, caused to suspension of the training phase for most of the new medical faculty graduated and ungraduated students in the training period.

As one of Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support goals, reinforcing the education sector and seeking to train and empower the youth.

Al-Ameen Organization has signed an agreement with the Free Aleppo University, aiming to train the fifth and sixth years students in Medical faculty and students who have not completed the training phases “Stages”, whereas Al-Amin will provide the training opportunity for this segment of students for three months in its medical facilities and centers, additionally, provide them opportunities to have jobs in Al-Ameen’s centers or other medical centers.





Accounting Training – Sudan

According to the importance of one of the training assignments, within free the  Youth Support Initiative in Sudan, an Support by Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support , accounting and financial training was conducted at a high level. Focusing on the importance of financial operations recording related to the business, and economic events recording, knowing the appropriate methods to analyze the financial operations, and classifying them in the business plan.

The trainees were able to make a comprehensive budget for medium-sized unrealistic companies, then a distinction was made between the types of financial reports and how to use them.

They used international accounting standards according to IRFS lists.

Our teams are leaving no stone unturned as they intensify their efforts to finish building  Al_Ameen school in Raju, which is a town in Afrin, Syria. to provide the learning opportunity to more than 700 students from the 7th until the 12th grade. The school will contain 8 classes and an administration room, along with a 200 square meters playground in addition to other facilities such as restrooms and more. The team is working now to provide the school with the necessary furnishing and electricity, hoping to finish the work as soon as possible.

Al-Ameen teams have begun a reconstruction and repairing campaign aiming at preparing the largest number of schools in Afrin city and its surroundings, bearing in mind the difficult weather conditions in winter and how it might affect the schools. The campaign included several repairing works, especially roofs isolation, and until now the teams managed to accomplish the required repairs in 216 classes in 30 schools in Afrin and Jinderis, and will continue to work to cover the total of 517 classes in 62 schools with the capacity of 27,392 students.

Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support is pleased to announce the launching of the Youth Support Initiative in Sudan, an opportunity which aims at providing 600 young men and women with the required knowledge and skills to pursue their desired careers, and to build their capacity in order to follow their academic and professional dreams through providing various scholarships and courses in different fields. Around 600 people attended the the opening event as the initiative was thoroughly explained and the audience received information on the various courses that will be provided throughout the project, which includes trainings and workshops on a variety of topics such as accounting, programming, graphic design and many more.

Because it is the stent of the future and the main nerve of human power, and because it is the largest age group in the social fabric in the country, the youth group in Sudan was the age group that is focused by civil society organizations and the rising development projects in the country in the new conditions that Sudan lives today. On this basis, it was necessary to give Sudanese youth an exceptional interest in the field of vocational rehabilitation and to cultivate their talents in the best way, in order to effectively and efficiently supply the growing labor market with all its needs.

Although most Sudanese youth complete basic traditional education stages, the current labor market today requires more than traditional education, to reach actual specializations in the various professional fields required in the country, which depend mainly on modern technology means that the traditional education cannot usually give, which prevents most Sudanese youth from developing their skills in a manner compatible with modernity or standing as a barrier to their desire for technical specialization.

Based on this reality that Sudanese youth are experiencing today, the idea of “Initiative of Sudan youth support ” project was launched by the “Al-Ameen” team for humanitarian support, with the aim of providing a modern and integrated training platform for Sudanese youth to help them achieve their professional and academic aspirations, by means of interactive training courses that use the internet as a platform, and it provides dozens of opportunities in various disciplines and helps young men and women to acquire experience and knowledge, thus building capacities and developing skills in various modern technical fields.

Project targets

“Initiative of Sudan youth support” project aims mainly to provide Sudanese youth with a package of multiple courses in different fields free of charge that makes them accessible to all. It also aims to create an attractive training environment that motivates young people to join the specialized courses available within the project.

In addition, the project will work to provide a stable source of income for a large number of young trainers who are distinguished in their fields, by qualifying them to compete in the labor market, and it will also strengthen and support the academic results of the trainees, and link them to the professional aspects to qualify them for various job opportunities.

“Initiative of Sudan youth support” project will meet the training needs in the country in general, and design distinct training bags according to the latest training techniques and methods, with continuous training workshops and training grants for various groups and specializations. The project will also provide accredited certificates to enhance the reference and credibility of training for trainees when applying for any job in the future.

Training types provided in the project

The project will provide training in each of the fields of medicine, first aid, and health care basics, in addition to programming languages, the basics of computer and maintenance, graphic design programs, the basics of project management, quality and entrepreneurship, basics of accounting and statistics for beginners and advanced students, and the basics of commercial and marketing.

The project will also provide language courses, comprehensive media training programs, in addition to communication skills, in addition to various engineering programs, manual structural design and architecture designs, training on networks and communications, and the fundamentals of the fourth generation, in addition to Arabic calligraphy, chess, and many other programs.

What is the desired impact of the “Initiative of Sudan youth support” program?

“Al-Ameen” for humanitarian support always seeks the long-term effects of all its activities. With regard to “Initiative of Sudan youth support” project, in particular, the long-term impact that “Al-Ameen” is looking for is focused on reaching the target group in the labor market in a smooth and professional manner, whether that is through follow-up the featured trainees and providing them with job opportunities, or by pushing them to build professional relationships with various institutions.

“Initiative of Sudan youth support” project will also work on filling the gap existing between graduates of educational institutions and the labor market, by identifying the most prominent modern requirements for the labor market, enhancing youth opportunities to obtain them, and providing scientific and practical advice to Sudanese youth, which will contribute to moving the wheel of construction for internal development projects with efforts. Pure youth conducted by professionally qualified groups of graduates of the training and workshops that the project will provide.
