Al-Amin’s sponsorship of the World Patient Safety Day event

In coordination with the General Directorate of Quality and Infection Control at Ma’rib Authority Hospital, and as part of its social responsibility, the International Association for Victims of Wars and Disasters (AL-Ameen) sponsored the World Patient Safety Day event, which is on September 17th each year. This event was organized at the Faculty of Medicine at Saba University in Ma’rib Governorate.

The event included presentations by medical professionals from the Faculty of Medicine on the importance of patient safety and their rights to access it.

Dr. Fuad Al-Samai, the General Director of the Quality and Infection Control Department at Ma’rib Authority Hospital, emphasized the significance of patient safety as a fundamental pillar in the healthcare sector that all healthcare professionals should strive to achieve.

Mr. Ashraf Bahamran, the coordinator of AL-Ameen organization in Ma’rib, stated that this activity is part of the organization’s plan to support awareness-raising activities aimed at improving the quality of medical services and fulfilling its social responsibility towards the community.
