Al-Abadi Discusses Cooperation and Coordination with the Regional Director of the International Association for Protection of Wars and Disasters Victims (Al-Ameen)
Today, Dr. Ahmed Al-Abadi, the General Director of Public Health and Population office in Ma’rib Governorate, held discussions with Dr. Mohammad Deeb Derbaa, the Regional Director of the International Association for Protection of Wars and Disasters Victims (Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support), who is visiting the governorate. The discussions revolved around cooperation, coordination, and interventions in the healthcare sector.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Abadi highlighted the key needs facing the healthcare sector in the governorate, especially in terms of medical services and primary healthcare. He emphasized the ongoing increase in the number of internally displaced people and the expansion of healthcare services in healthcare facilities, as well as the response to infectious diseases in the IDP camps.
The Director praised Al-Ameen’s intensified efforts in healthcare interventions, aiming to cover a larger number of healthcare facilities in the directorates. He commended the International Association for Protection of Wars and Disasters Victims (Al-Ameen) for its programs and projects in the healthcare sector in the governorate.
On his part, Dr. Mohammad Deeb, the Regional Director of the International Association for Protection of Wars and Disasters Victims, explained the nature of his visit to the governorate to assess the healthcare situation and strengthen cooperation and coordination with the Health Office. He also emphasized the organization’s expansion of healthcare interventions in Ma’rib, applauding the Health Office’s successful implementation of the association’s activities and programs.
