Al-Ameen Organization Participates in the Prosthetics Forum in Khartoum Under the Theme “Effective Partnership for a Better Future”As part of its efforts to enhance healthcare and rehabilitation services and support persons with disabilities and amputees, the Al-Ameen Humanitarian Organization participated in the Prosthetics Forum held in Khartoum under the theme “Effective Partnership for a Better Future.”During the forum, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Awad Ahmed, the Minister of Health for Sennar State, outlined the state’s key health and rehabilitation needs, noting that the number of patients suffering from kidney failure has exceeded 400.He explained that the dialysis center in Singa is equipped with only five machines, while the Sennar center has 22 machines—13 of which are out of service. Additionally, the number of persons with disabilities in the state has reached approximately 46,400 following the outbreak of the war.These figures reflect the scale of existing health and rehabilitation needs and underscore the importance of strengthening partnerships and coordination among relevant stakeholders to support specialized services and ensure they reach the most vulnerable groups.
