Empowering Women in Yemen Through Sewing and Embroidery Training Supported by King Salman Humanitarian Center and the International Association “Al-Ameen”
As part of the voluntary project carried out by Al-Ameen International Organization in Yemen, and with generous funding from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre, training activities in sewing and embroidery have commenced. The initiative saw the participation of dozens of women and young girls, aimed at equipping them with skills to enter the labor market efficiently.
This initiative is one of the tools for sustainable development, focusing on developing craft skills and providing real job opportunities, contributing to poverty reduction and promoting self-reliance. The training programs are based on the latest technical methods, with specialized training that considers the needs of local markets, thereby enhancing the capabilities of trainees to start their own projects or integrate into existing markets.
These activities play a pivotal role in improving economic and social conditions, especially amid current challenges, by establishing a generation capable of contributing to building a more stable and prosperous future. Our investment in skill development is an investment in humanity, contributing to comprehensive community development, and reflects our firm commitment to providing a decent life for all.
