On World Physical Therapy Day: Physical Therapy Staff Honored at the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz

Coinciding with the celebration of World Physical Therapy Day, the management of the project operating the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in the city of Taiz organized an event to honor the staff of the center’s Physical Therapy Department, in recognition of their continuous efforts and their central role in helping patients regain their mobility and independence.This tribute reflects the center’s commitment to highlighting the humanitarian and professional role played by the physical therapy team, which works daily with patients who have lost part of their mobility due to injuries and amputations, striving to rehabilitate them physically and psychologically so they can return to normal life and carry out their daily activities independently.The Physical Therapy Department is one of the core departments at the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz, offering specialized therapeutic and rehabilitative programs that include muscle-strengthening exercises, balance and walking training, and preparation for the optimal use of prosthetic limbs, alongside continuous follow-up on each patient’s condition according to an individualized treatment plan tailored to their needs.It is worth noting that the project operating the Artificial Limbs and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz is funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, as part of its efforts to support Yemen’s health and humanitarian sector and provide medical rehabilitation services for the injured and people with disabilities, helping to ease their suffering and restore their active role in society.At the conclusion of the event, the project’s management extended its thanks and appreciation to every physical therapy specialist and therapist who has contributed to making a real difference in patients’ lives, affirming that every step a patient regains and every movement they are able to perform again is the fruit of humanitarian and professional effort that deserves recognition and celebration.
