Scientific lecture on the development of cochlear implantation operations at Al-Mouwasat Hospital in Damascus

In an effort to enhance scientific cooperation and develop specialized health services, initiated by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and as part of the “Hope” volunteer program in coordination with the international association “Ameen,” a high-level scientific lecture was conducted addressing the topic of cochlear implantation development. The meeting was held in the ENT department auditorium at Al-Mouwasat University Hospital in Damascus, the capital of Syria, where Professor Abdul Rahman Hajar presented an extensive presentation showcasing the latest techniques and surgical methods in this vital field.

Professor Hajar focused on highlighting recent advancements that contribute to improving treatment outcomes and the quality of life for patients, pointing to technological innovations and advanced methods that could represent a qualitative leap in the field of cochlear implantation. The session was distinguished by fruitful scientific discussions, with a large number of doctors and specialists participating in discussing current challenges and future opportunities, which positively reflected on the exchange of specialized expertise and opinions.

This initiative is considered a strategic step towards enhancing scientific integration between medical and research staff, contributing to raising the level of specialized health services and supporting the innovation journey in the medical sector.
