Kidney Dialysis Medications Reach Tartus Patients with Support from the King Salman Center
In a step aimed at easing the suffering of kidney failure patients in Tartus governorate, Al-Ameen Humanitarian Support Organization carried out a distribution of dialysis medications and other specialized drugs covering nine areas across the governorate, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
This initiative comes as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to ensure that healthcare reaches the groups most in need, particularly since dialysis patients require strict regularity in taking their medications, and any interruption in drug supply can put their lives at real risk. By covering nine different areas in Tartus, the organization was able to reach a larger number of patients who face difficulty accessing treatment due to harsh economic conditions and the rising cost of medicine.
The significance of this distribution goes beyond simply securing medication; it also extends to easing the psychological and financial burden on patients and their families, who often have to search for costly alternative sources to meet their treatment needs. This support reflects the importance of cooperation between humanitarian organizations and donors in providing an effective and sustainable response to the needs of affected communities.
Al-Ameen Humanitarian Support Organization continues its efforts across various Syrian regions, striving to provide the necessary health and humanitarian support, affirming its commitment to reaching those in need wherever they are.
