Chronic diseases and early detection
To improve access to primary health care, ensure continuity of Health Services in the Northern Aleppo countryside, and provide the necessary Health service to beneficiaries in the region in accordance with WHO standards.
As part of the third phase of the Aleppo Network III project, AL Ameen for Humanitarian Support began recently to train “chronic diseases” (non-communicable diseases) in the city of Azaz, as part of a series of training aimed to build the capacity of medical personnel in the health centers involved in the project.
The training targets physicians, nurses, and pharmacists designated to follow up with chronic disease patients, to familiarize them with chronic diseases and how to early detect them and the predisposing factors for them, the most important of which is diabetes, gestational diabetes, arterial hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, obstructive pulmonary diseases, primary and secondary prevention of chronic diseases, in addition to obesity, causes and methods of management.
