Psychological support training for women and children in Aden, sponsored by the King Salman Center
As part of the General Volunteer Program implemented by the International Association “Al-Ameen” with generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, a specialized training titled “Psychological Support for Women and Children” was held in the temporary capital, Aden. The training targeted 450 beneficiaries, divided into three groups: children, adolescents, and women.
The training focused on two key pillars:
-Empowering Women Psychologically: By providing support to help them cope with psychological and social pressures, and enhancing their recovery and resilience skills—positively impacting their role within the family and community.
– Protecting and Supporting Children’s Psychological Growth: Through understanding their emotional needs at different developmental stages, learning how to help them overcome trauma and fears, and creating a safe environment that promotes mental well-being.
The program also included specialized individual sessions, offering direct support and safe spaces for expression and interaction.
This training doesn’t just offer psychological tools—it plants seeds of healing in a setting that needs every touch of care and compassion.
