In the heart of Yemen’s Marib Governorate, the IRVD-affiliated Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center – “Al-Amin” – continues to provide high-quality services, offering injured individuals a new chance at mobility and independence. This is made possible with the support and funding of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, under the slogan #ForHumanity_Help.
Many who lost their mobility due to war injuries or illness are now able to stand, walk, and reclaim a significant part of their daily lives, thanks to the center’s comprehensive range of services.
Comprehensive Mobility Restoration Services
The center offers a wide range of specialized services, including:
Fitting upper and lower limb prostheses
Fitting cosmetic and orthotic prostheses
Measuring and designing prostheses according to each individual’s needs
Training beneficiaries on using and adapting to their new prostheses
Maintenance and rehabilitation of prostheses
Rehabilitation is an integral part of treatment
