International Day of Education January 24th -2025

On International Day of Education, observed each year on January 24th as declared by the United Nations General Assembly, we at the International Association “AL-Ameen” emphasize the right to education for all, considering it a tool for achieving peace and development. Without inclusive and equal educational opportunities throughout life, efforts toward gender equality and eradicating poverty will falter.

In this context, Syria faces significant challenges in the educational process, especially after the war. The country suffers from fragile infrastructure and the destruction of many schools, which further exacerbates the difficulty of ensuring that all children have access to fair and inclusive learning opportunities to overcome the effects of war and contribute to building a better future
