Alameen Organization has started the follow-up phase for cochlear implant patients approximately one month after their surgeries. The organization welcomed the 29 children who benefited from the first phase of the cochlear implant campaign, in addition to 19 other children who had previously undergone specialized surgeries. The follow-up phase commenced at Afrin Hospital in Syria, which has attracted cases from various areas in northern Syria.
This phase aims to conduct auditory evaluations for the children and adjust their current hearing aids according to internationally accepted protocols. This step is part of the continuous monitoring of case development, supporting auditory and speech rehabilitation, and encouraging regular visits to the speech and hearing rehabilitation centers affiliated with Alameen Organization. These centers comply with technical and geographical distribution standards and are distinguished by their skilled staff capable of handling various cases.
