Abdul Rahman Muhammad’s story with Arsal Health Center, which resulted in getting rid of his health problem
In a time marked by the escalation of war and destruction, we hear the story of Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Waw, a young Syrian refugee from the city of Qusayr, Abdul Rahman was born in Syria in 2003, and his story represents the plight of thousands who were forced to leave their homeland in search of safety and a better life, after enduring harsh experiences during their journey, he and his family faced numerous challenges on the perilous road due to the ongoing war in their country.
This arduous journey reflects the experiences of many Syrian refugees who embarked on a risky journey across borders into Lebanon. Along the way, Abdul Rahman and his family encountered various challenges, from the danger of crossing borders illegally to the difficulties of finding shelter and livelihood in a new environment. Their arrival at the Arsal refugee camps marked a new stage in their challenges, as they had to adapt to camp conditions and seek means to provide for their basic needs and those of their families, this story symbolizes the journey of resilience and hope in the face of adversity, demonstrating how determination and sacrifice can help overcome challenges that confront refugees around the world. Abdul Rahman showed dedication to his education by studying at an Islamic institute and pursuing his university studies, after completing his studies, he worked in a clothing store to provide for his family, who were living in difficult economic circumstances in one of the Arsal camps, he also faced skin problems on his face and body, prompting him to seek help at Arsal Health Center because he couldn’t afford the treatment costs.
Thanks to the support from the center, which is funded by King Salman Center, and consultation with Dr. Mustafa Al-Bazzal, Abdul Rahman received the necessary care and continued treatment for over two months, he was provided with medications, creams, and medical advice. Thanks to these efforts, he fully recovered from his skin problem.
At the end of his treatment, Abdul Rahman expressed deep gratitude to Arsal Health Center and Dr. Mustafa Al-Bazzal for their caring and generous support, which contributed to improving his health and resolving the skin issues he had faced which demonstrates their commitment to their motto of humanitarianism without borders.
