As part of its continued efforts to support the health sector in Syria, Al-Ameen Organization for Humanitarian Support delivered a shipment of solutions and dialysis supplies for kidney dialysis machines to the Health Directorate of Damascus Governorate, in the Al-Sabura sub-district of Rural Damascus. The delivery aims to ensure the continuity of medical services for kidney failure patients and to respond to their growing needs.Dialysis is an essential treatment that cannot be interrupted, as patients depend on it regularly to stay alive. For this reason, the continuous availability of solutions and operational supplies is a decisive factor in keeping this service stable and in enabling medical centers to receive patients without delay or interruption. This activity is part of the project “Securing Water Purification and Treatment Stations and Voltage Stabilization Devices for Dialysis Machines, with the Provision of Solutions and Operational Supplies in Syria,” implemented with the generous funding and support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. The project aims to support the dialysis system as a whole by providing the treated water needed to run the machines, protecting them from electrical fluctuations, and supplying the consumables patients need in every treatment session.Through this initiative, Al-Ameen Organization for Humanitarian Support reaffirms its commitment to supporting health facilities and easing the suffering of patients in Syria, in cooperation with its partners and local health authorities, to ensure that medical care reaches those who need it.
