Cataract Surgery Campaign in Damascus by the International Association “Al-Ameen” to Restore Vision and Improve Quality of Life

Al-Ameen International Humanitarian Organization continues to implement the cataract surgery (white water removal) campaign in Damascus, with the aim of treating impaired vision resulting from this common condition, which may lead to vision loss if left untreated.

During the campaign, specialized surgical operations are performed, in accordance with international medical standards, with the aim of removing the opaque lens and replacing it with an artificial lens, which contributes to restoring visual acuity and improving the quality of life for patients, and enabling them to carry out their daily activities independently.
