Project of enhance healthcare services for Syrian refugees and the host community in Lebanon – Arsal
Our teams continue the fifth phase of the project to enhance healthcare services for Syrian refugees and the host community in Lebanon – Arsal, funded by King Salman Center. This phase involves distributing hygiene kits in the Arsal camps. We previously announced the distribution of 10,000 kits in several phases.
This project is being implemented due to the ongoing health struggles in the Arsal camps and sanitation issues that threaten public health in the area. The project includes health awareness campaigns that aim to raise awareness about the importance of personal hygiene, conduct awareness sessions, distribute brochures with essential personal hygiene tips, and distribute hygiene kits following field surveys of the most affected camps in Arsal. In several phases, approximately 3,000 kits have been distributed, targeting women over the age of 14 in each tent.
