World Humanitarian Day

Every year on August 19th, we observe World Humanitarian Day. Civilians and aid workers in conflict zones face killing, injury, attacks, and abductions, despite international laws in place to protect them.

It is time to demand accountability and urge those in power to act for the sake of humanity.

We reiterate our urgent call to protect humanitarian workers and all civilians. We must all strive harder to safeguard our shared humanity.
