With the Eyes of Determination: Training Blind Paramedics in Damascus with Support from KSRelief

From the capital Damascus, the International Association launches, within the Ather Initiative and with the generous support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, a unique training program to qualify blind paramedics, with the aim of enabling them to provide medical and humanitarian support in emergencies. The program focuses on providing trainees with basic first aid skills and enhancing their ability to respond quickly and effectively by relying on and developing other senses. We aim to integrate these competencies into the ambulance work system and highlight their active role in serving the community.
