Welcomed a delegation from the European Union Mission at the Prosthetics and Physiotherapy Center in Reyhanli – Hatay – Türkiye
The team of the Prosthetic Limbs and Physiotherapy Center in Reyhanlı – Hatay, Turkey, welcomed a delegation from the European Union mission. Dr. Dan, Head of the European Union Mission to Syria, toured the rehabilitation projects of the Alameen Organization in Reyhanlı.
During the visit, Dr. Dan reviewed the health services provided at the Prosthetic Limbs and Rehabilitation Center, which serves both Syrian refugees and the Turkish host communities affected by the Syrian humanitarian crisis, in addition to those affected by the Kahramanmaraş earthquake.
Dr. Dan praised the quality of services offered at the center, which include physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation, contributing to alleviating the suffering of refugees by providing access to health services, especially for women and children with physical disabilities.
Dr. Dan also visited the Vocational Training Institute, which targets youth vocational rehabilitation, and commended the efforts made in this field.
The visit concluded with a dialogue session hosted by the organization, which included several organization officials and field workers.
