Vital services provided by the Somali Blood Bank Center

The Somali Blood Bank Center, run by the International Society – Al-Amin with generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief), continues to provide vital, life-saving services to patients daily.

The center collects blood from donors, carefully screens it, stores it, and then distributes it to hospitals and health facilities to ensure it reaches those who need it immediately, especially children with anemia and emergency cases.

Every unit of blood donated here represents a new lease on life and embodies the Society’s medical and humanitarian commitment to supporting the health system and providing urgent and safe care.
