The Role of the International Society for the Care of War Victims at Saudi Rehab Expo for Rehabilitation and Assistive Technologies

The International Society for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters participated in the activities of the Saudi International Rehabilitation & Assistive Technology Expo, held in the capital Riyadh, embodying the Society’s vision and humanitarian mission in providing support and care for affected individuals around the world.

The “Rehab Saudi” Expo is a specialized platform that showcases the latest technologies and services in the fields of rehabilitation and assistive technology, bringing together government entities, medical institutions, rehabilitation centers, global companies, and humanitarian organizations, with the goal of promoting innovation and cooperation to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and the injured, and supporting their full integration in society.

Through this participation, the Society aimed to highlight its efforts to serve the most vulnerable groups in areas of conflict and disasters, as well as to raise awareness about the importance of humanitarian and volunteer work in building more resilient communities and helping them recover from crises.

The Society also sought to build bridges of cooperation and partnership with the participating governmental bodies, international organizations, and charitable institutions in the exhibition, in a way that contributes to developing disaster response mechanisms and improving the quality of services provided to victims and the injured, through the exchange of experiences and humanitarian practices in the field of rehabilitation and care.
