The Amal Medical Volunteer Project Expands Its Free Services to Support Specialized Healthcare in Damascus

As part of efforts to enhance access to specialized healthcare in the Syrian Arab Republic, the “Amal” (Hope) Medical Volunteer Project for Specialized Clinics has been launched at the Damascus University National Hospital. This project aims to provide integrated diagnostic and treatment services in various medical specialties, including family medicine, pain management, endocrinology, and dermatology, to ensure that the diverse health needs of the community are met.

The specialized clinics are of paramount importance in this project, as they contribute to providing specialized care for patients suffering from a wide range of diseases and disorders, including neurological diseases that require accurate diagnosis and effective treatment to improve patients’ quality of life. All services within this project are provided free of charge, including medical consultations, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and medication dispensing, in order to remove financial barriers that prevent patients from obtaining the necessary health care.
