Somalia’s Special Envoy Visits the International Association “Al-Ameen” Centers Supported by KSrelief to Enhance Health and Nutrition Services
The Special Envoy of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia for Health and Nutrition, Deputy Abdul Rahman Mohamed Sheikh, conducted an important field visit to strengthen and develop the capacities of the health sector at the Blood Bank Center and the Banadir Dialysis Center, operated by Al-Ameen International Organization with the generous support and funding of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. This visit aims to improve patients’ lives and provide high-quality health services.
This initiative is part of the Somali government’s interest in the programs and projects carried out by Al-Ameen International Organization, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre. These programs and projects target the development of healthcare infrastructure and the enhancement of medical staff capabilities.
During his visit to various healthcare institutions, the envoy reviewed the progress, and the technical and administrative reports illustrating the achievements and developments of the health projects, with demonstrations of advanced, integrated service delivery mechanisms that address community needs, especially in chronic disease treatment, support for kidney failure patients, and blood donation services.
The envoy praised the efforts made by the technical teams and the role of Al-Ameen International Organization in implementing these programs, which reflect their continuous commitment to strengthening Somalia’s health system, boosting the capacities of medical personnel, and improving the quality of life of citizens. He also called on everyone to double their efforts and support sustainable health initiatives that contribute to comprehensive health development.
At the conclusion of the visit, the envoy emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination and cooperation between the government and Al-Ameen International Organization, and that these efforts should continue to translate visions into tangible realities that positively reflect on the lives of the citizens. He expressed his deep gratitude for the ongoing support from the King Salman Centre, which is a fundamental pillar in implementing health promotion programs and achieving sustainability.
