Signing of the Agreement to Operate the Dialysis Center at Banadir Hospital in Somalia
Alameen Organization has signed an agreement to operate the dialysis center at Banadir Hospital in Somalia, with the aim of providing free dialysis services to patients. The center provides 35 dialysis sessions daily, equivalent to 900 sessions per month, in addition to offering medical consultations to 180 patients and distributing medications according to prescriptions to alleviate human suffering among the Somali people and contribute to the localization of health services.
This center is the only free services one in Somalia, which increases the importance of the project. The agreement was signed during the activities of the humanitarian exhibition in Mogadishu, under the patronage of the Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, and the Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of King Salman for Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah.
The ceremony was attended by a number of ministers, ambassadors, representatives of the United Nations and its agencies, as well as prominent international organizations working in Somalia.
Alameen Organization participated in the exhibition with a special booth, where it showcased its achievements and latest humanitarian and charitable projects. This step comes as part of efforts to enhance cooperation with organizations, associations, and institutions to meet the needs of those affected by crises and disasters, exchange knowledge, and keep up with developments in the humanitarian, relief, and development fields.
