Pediatric Cancer Treatment in Hadramout Supported by KSRelief and Supervised by Al-Ameen

Within the framework of the medical volunteer project for the treatment of childhood tumors in the Hadramout Governorate of the Republic of Yemen, funded and supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, the Al-Ameen International Humanitarian Organization continues to implement the project’s activities aimed at strengthening specialized health care services for children with tumors.

Since the launch of the campaign, the volunteer medical team attached to the center has conducted medical examinations on 23 children from needy patients, in addition to reviewing and updating treatment plans to suit the health condition of each child, in accordance with the latest medical standards.

The project also included an important training aspect, as training courses were organized for local health personnel, with the aim of raising the level of medical efficiency and enhancing the capabilities of local response to treat tumor cases.

This intervention comes within the continuous efforts to improve access to cancer treatment services and strengthen the health system in areas of need.
