Participation of the Alameen Organization team in the training of trainers workshop on the rapid needs assessment tool organized by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs
Alameen Organization team participated in a Training of Trainers workshop on the Rapid Needs Assessment Tool, organized by the UN OCHA, held over two days in Gaziantep, Turkey.
The tool aims to quickly assess needs following a natural disaster or security escalation to facilitate a rapid, efficient, and coordinated response among all participating partners, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Alameen, represented by its technical team, made significant contributions to the development and training on the tool alongside other partner organizations. It plays a crucial coordinating role as the Assistant Coordinator for the Assessment and Analysis Working Group (AAWG) and as an active member of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Taskforce.
The Information and Needs Assessment Department of the Alameen Organization issues regular reports on all humanitarian sectors and is considered a reliable source of information for partners due to its access and adherence to standard methodologies throughout all stages of work and report issuance.
