As part of the ongoing efforts by the International Association “Al-Ameen” to strengthen the healthcare sector in Idlib Governorate, the city of Ariha today witnessed the inauguration of Al-Ameen Specialized Hospital for Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Surgeries, as well as Hearing Disorders. This initiative aims to provide specialized medical care that was previously unavailable in the region.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Musab Al-Ali; the esteemed Governor of Idlib Governorate, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman; the Director of Health in Idlib Governorate, Dr. Samer Arabi; along with representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO), and a number of local dignitaries and residents of the Ariha area.

“The opening of Al-Ameen Specialized Hospital represents a qualitative addition to the health services in Idlib Governorate and embodies our commitment to providing high-quality specialized medical care for citizens. This medical facility serves as a model for delivering services that meet the growing needs of the community.”
For his part, the Governor of Idlib, Mr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman, explained that
“The opening of this specialized hospital is the result of continuous efforts and fruitful cooperation between the Syrian government and international and humanitarian organizations. This achievement reflects our determination to build a healthy society capable of facing challenges and ensuring a dignified life for all citizens.”
This hospital constitutes a significant addition to the healthcare sector in the region, as it will provide specialized medical services in the fields of eye diseases and surgeries, as well as ENT (ear, nose, and throat) care—areas that affect a large segment of the population and directly improve their quality of life. The hospital also aims to offer advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, thereby reducing the need to travel to other areas for treatment.
This project is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, meeting their basic needs, and enhancing their resilience and recovery by providing high-quality and sustainable healthcare services.
