Major health projects inaugurated in Qusayr with support from the International Association – Al-Amin
Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Musab Nizar Al-Ali, Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, and Mr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ama, Governor of Homs, and in the presence of representatives from the Qusayr District Administration and local community leaders, a series of healthcare projects were inaugurated today with the support of the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims – Al-Amin, in the city of Al-Qusayr, Homs Governorate.
The inaugurated projects included Al-Qusayr Hospital, the Al-Qusayr Dialysis Center, and the Physical Therapy and Prosthetics Center — comprehensive healthcare facilities designed to restore vital medical services in the region and provide specialized care to those most in need.
His Excellency the Minister of Health affirmed that these projects fall within the national vision for revitalizing the healthcare sector and ensuring the provision of various medical needs for the population, especially in areas witnessing the gradual return of residents.
For his part, Governor Abdul Rahman Al-Ama commended the efforts of the Ministry of Health and healthcare partners, praising the humanitarian role played by supporting institutions.
Dr. Moawia Harsouni, Executive Director of the International Association – Al-Amin, noted that these projects are part of the implementation phase of the programs announced last August. They reflect the association’s commitment to supporting Syria’s healthcare sector and enhancing equitable and comprehensive access to medical services, driven by the belief that humanity comes first and that healing is a right that should never be delayed.
