Launching the “Saudi Hearing” volunteer program in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
In the presence of Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the Kenyan Minister of Health, and a number of Arab and resident ambassadors in Kenya, the “Saudi Hearing” volunteer program was launched today in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.
The program aims to implant 1,000 cochlear implants in several African countries, enabling children and people with hearing disabilities to regain their sense of hearing. This will contribute to improving their quality of life and integrating them into society.
The program is being implemented by the most skilled Saudi doctors and health personnel, in cooperation with the implementing partner, the International Association for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters (Ameen). It is one of the humanitarian initiatives offered by KSrelief as part of its ongoing efforts to promote health and support the world’s most vulnerable groups.
This program reflects the depth of human relations and embodies the Kingdom’s pioneering role in global humanitarian work.
