King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Launches “Hear Saudi Arabia” Program in Collaboration with Al-Ameen in Tunisia
His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), launched the “Hear Saudi Arabia” voluntary program, in the presence of Dr. Aqeel Al-Ghamdi, Assistant Supervisor General, the Tunisian Minister of Health, several Arab ambassadors, and members of the Tunisian community.
The program aims to implant 1,000 electronic cochlear devices in several African countries, helping children and individuals with hearing impairments regain their ability to hear, thus improving their quality of life and facilitating their integration into society.
The initiative is being carried out by a team of elite Saudi doctors and healthcare professionals, in partnership with the implementing organization, the International Organization for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters – Al-Ameen. It is part of KSrelief’s ongoing efforts to enhance health services and support the most vulnerable populations around the world.
The program reflects the deep humanitarian ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its sister nations, and showcases the Kingdom’s leading role in the global humanitarian field.
