MAIN PURPOSE
Supervising the clinical activities and guaranteeing the quality of midwifery care in the supported facilities,
according to international protocols, values and universal hygiene standards in order to provide a high-quality
Mother and Child Health (MCH) care to the population.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Support and Supervision:

● Provide technical guidance to partners for quality maternal and childbirth care, including ante-natal consultations,
delivery and after delivery follow up, post-natal consultations, contraception consultations and new-born vaccinations
● Support clinical activities in SRH departments.
● Ensure hygiene and infection prevention standards.
● Ensure staff are trained and qualified to use medical devices, report malfunctions.
● Manage department-related pharmacy activities and medical equipment maintenance.
● Ensure SRH staff can identify and care for SGBV victims in collaboration with Obs & Gyne MD.
● Inform Medical Activities Manager of serious problems or complications.
● Coordinate referrals for pregnant women for further medical evaluation.
Training and Capacity Building:
● Design and implement training programs for the team.
Monitoring Technical Indicators:
● Analyse technical indicators related to reproductive health.
● Prepare periodic reports with results, observations and recommendations.
● Participate in monthly report preparation.
Field Visits:
● Conduct weekly field visits to health facilities for technical support and service improvement.

EDUCATION
• Diploma in Midwifery.
• Midwifery License
• Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) essential.

EXPERIENCE
• 2 years’ experience as Midwife.
• Desirable experience in the Humanitarian sector.

LANGUAGES
• English: oral and written essential
• Arabic: oral and written essential
