Location: Gaziantep, Turkey

Length of Contract: 6 Months

Job Purpose

To support the Finance Department oversight of Grants’ accounts, reviewing grant budgets, travel expense reports, and preparing monthly financial reports for Al Ameen programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on all accounting operations, and conformity with donor/partner/finance requirements.
  • Ensure, enforce, and implement donor/partner/institution financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Follow-up budget in accordance with the outputs of the project in coordination with the direct supervisor
  • Creates and submit budget forecasting, budget controlling by tracking budgets
  • Continuous communications with Al Ameen finance field staff.
  • Continues communications with the donor’s finance departments
  • prepare and submit monthly payments in order to facilitate cash flow forecasting.
  • Control/document over all incoming and outgoing documents/fiscal transactions, and ensure they are correct and contain the required signatures, and according to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents
  • Prepare and maintain backend up the database and filing documents
  • Respect and apply all the PSEA principles, and show high commitment to report any SEA action

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

  • University degree (Accounting – Business Administration – Banking and Finance – similar branches).
  • Work experience as a Finance Officer or similar role for at least 3 years.
  • A good level in both English and Arabic is required
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Experience using financial software.
  • Turkish Nationality is required.
