Foundation: Alameen organization is a non-governmental non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2012 as a volunteer community initiative by several doctors and academics supporting the late martyr Mohammad Ameen Harsouny, in response to the needs of those affected by the Syrian humanitarian crises and in commemoration of his memory.

Licensing and Operations
Alameen is Officially licensed in many countries such as The United Kingdom, Sweden, The United States, and Turkey. These main offices are officially registered with a charity status facilitating advocacy activities, fundraising opportunities, and spreading our cause loudly everywhere we can.
Alameen has been also involved in humanitarian responses as operational missions in Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Somalia, Palestine, Sudan, Iraq, Ukraine, and Djibouti over the past years. In these mission offices, Alameen coordination teams operate in coordination and collaboration with local authorities, providing services through three main Humanitarian programs: Health and Nutrition, Protection and Education, and Emergency Response.
Summary:
The Content Editor is responsible for creating, editing, reviewing, and publishing written content that
reflects ALAMEEN’s mission, values, and humanitarian activities. The role aims to ensure high-quality,
accurate, and engaging content across various platforms, including reports, social media, newsletters,
campaigns, and advocacy materials, while maintaining transparency, integrity, and professional
communication with different audiences.
Duties and Responsibilities :
• Write, edit, proofread, and review content related to ALAMEEN’s activities, projects, campaigns, and organizational updates.
• Prepare humanitarian stories, success stories, awareness content, and advocacy materials aligned with ALAMEEN’s communication strategy.
• Ensure consistency in tone, terminology, branding, and messaging across all written content.
• Coordinate with programs, field teams, and media staff to collect, verify, and refine information before publication.
• Edit and supervise the preparation of key publications such as newsletters, reports, announcements, and training materials.
• Adapt content for different platforms and audiences, including donors, partners, beneficiaries, and the general public.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
• Support transparency by preparing and editing vacancy announcements, procurement notices, and public communications.
• Archive, organize, and maintain content documentation in accordance with ALAMEEN standards.
• Respect and apply all PSEA principles and show high commitment to report any PSEA action.
Supervision:
• Contribute to periodic content reviews and evaluations (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Ensure all published content meets quality, ethical, and compliance standards.
Major responsibilities:
Manage social media official accounts
Keep posting news and stories that cover the organization’s activities and programs
Engage with public by replying on received messages and comments
Enhance engagement through following best practices for each account

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Media, English, Arabic Literature, or a related field is
Experience
• Proven experience in content writing and editing.
• Experience in writing in both Arabic and English.
• Previous experience with humanitarian or non-profit organizations is an asset.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Languages:
• Arabic and English are mandatory (speaking and writing)
