the late martyr Mohammad Ameen Harsouny, in response to the
needs of those affected by the Syrian humanitarian crises and in
commemoration of his memory.

Licensing and Operations
Alameen is Officially licensed in many countries such as The United
Kingdom, Sweden, The United States, and Turkey. These main offices
are officially registered with a charity status facilitating advocacy
activities, fundraising opportunities, and spreading our cause loudly
everywhere we can.
Alameen has been also involved in humanitarian responses as
operational missions in Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Somalia,
Palestine, Sudan, Iraq, Ukraine, and Djibouti over the past years. In
these mission offices, Alameen coordination teams operate in
coordination and collaboration with local authorities, providing
services through three main Humanitarian programs: Health and
Nutrition, Protection and Education, and Emergency Response.
Summary:
The Architectural Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising,
and monitoring architectural works to ensure quality implementation
in line with approved designs, architectural standards, donor
requirements, and Alameen policies, while considering the
humanitarian context and community needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and review architectural designs, drawings, and technical
specifications.
• Supervise construction and rehabilitation works from an
architectural perspective at project sites.
• Ensure works are implemented according to approved architectural
plans, specifications, and timelines.
• Conduct site assessments, technical evaluations, and damage
assessments related to architectural works.
• Monitor contractors’ performance and verify completed
architectural works.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality control, environmental, and
architectural standards.
• Prepare technical reports (weekly/monthly) and site progress
updates.
• Coordinate with project teams, civil engineers, contractors,
suppliers, and local authorities.
• Ensure adherence to donor requirements and ALAMEEN
architectural standards.
• Respect and apply all PSEA principles and show high commitment
to report any PSEA action.
• Other future responsibilities/accountability may be assigned
according to the department’s organizational chart.
• Other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Implementation of Program
AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), MS Excel, MS Project, architectural
supervision tools, reporting templates.
Expected Profile
Education & Qualification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Architecture.
2. Relevant professional certifications are an asset.
Professional Experience
3. Minimum 3 years’ experience in architectural design and site
supervision.
4. Previous experience with humanitarian or development
organizations is preferred.
Languages
Fluent in Arabic.
Intermediate level in English.
