International Delegations Visit Manbij National Hospital to Enhance Healthcare Quality
Al-Maindj Hospital in Menbij, operated by Al-Ameen International Organization, received delegations today, Tuesday, from international and regional organizations as part of efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare and assess the status of provided services.
A delegation from the European Union, led by Georgeta Pasifitchioti, the technical assistant at the Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection Department, visited the hospital alongside Dr. Halim Bou Biker, the EU regional health expert, and a delegation from the World Health Organization, represented by the regional office in Damascus, headed by Rafael Vicht, the Director of Tertiary Care, and Dr. Rashid Idris, the Director of Primary Healthcare at the Damascus office, as well as Dr. Wajeeh Al-Jumaa, the Director of Health in Aleppo, and Nahl Ghadri, the Syria mission director at Al-Ameen International Organization.
The visit aimed to review the hospital’s health needs, evaluate the services provided, identify key challenges and difficulties facing health operations, and discuss mechanisms to enhance and develop medical services.
The Al-Ameen International team emphasized the importance of continuing to provide high-quality health services to meet the urgent needs in the Menbij area, focusing on supporting infrastructure, updating equipment, and developing the capabilities of medical staff to ensure the sustainability of an effective and sustainable healthcare system.
This visit reflects the deep cooperation and the international community’s commitment to achieving comprehensive medical stability, working to translate these efforts into meaningful improvements in the lives of the population and ensuring their basic right to health.
