Foundation Stone Laid for a Healthcare Center, Mosque, and Commercial Shops in Al-Qusayr, Supported by KSrelief and Implemented by Al-Ameen Humanitarian Organization

On Thursday, March 12, 2026, the foundation stone was laid for a project to construct a healthcare center, a mosque, a group of shops, and a water well in the city of Al-Qusayr, Homs Governorate. The ceremony was held under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Musab Al-Ali, and the Governor of Homs Governorate, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-A’ma, with the participation of the Director of Health for Homs and a number of dignitaries and residents of the Al-Qusayr area. The project is supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and is being supervised and implemented by the Al-Amin Humanitarian Organization as part of efforts to enhance health services and improve the level of medical care provided to residents of the area. During the visit, His Excellency the Minister and the Governor of Homs reviewed the progress of the project and its implementation phases. They listened to an explanation of the project’s components and the services it will provide upon completion, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in supporting the health sector and expanding the scope of medical services in areas that need to strengthen their health infrastructure. The project includes the construction of a comprehensive healthcare center aimed at providing basic medical services to residents, in addition to a mosque serving the local community, a group of shops, and a water well. These facilities have been designed to ensure the project’s sustainability. The project is considered one of the high-quality projects in the The area, being based on a sustainable development model, will see the proceeds from the shops and the well invested in supporting the operation of health services at the center, thus contributing to the continuity of medical care and enhancing the capacity of the health sector in Al-Qusayr to meet the needs of the population. This project is part of a series of humanitarian and development initiatives undertaken by Al-Amin Organization in coordination with the Ministry of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic, aimed at improving the level of basic services in the region.
