Al-Ghaydah Dialysis Center Raises Awareness Among Kidney Failure Patients and Families to Prevent Complications and Improve Quality of Life
The Hemodialysis Center in Al-Ghayda, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and overseen by the Al-Ameen International Organization, not only provides medical services and necessary consultations for patients with kidney failure but also employs awareness and education teams. These teams work to inform patients and their families about the importance of kidney health, the causes of kidney failure—such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and urinary tract infections—and the significance of maintaining a healthy diet, reducing salt and protein intake, avoiding harmful habits like smoking, and adhering to dialysis sessions and regular follow-ups.
The goal is to empower patients to understand how to prevent disease progression and to achieve a healthier, more stable life.
