A team from the International Committee of the Red Cross visits the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz
Vidalys Mosioka, the prosthetics expert from the International Committee of the Red Cross, reviewed the various activities and services provided by the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Taiz.
He was accompanied by Adel Salem, the field coordinator of the International Committee of the Red Cross. During their visit to the center, which is managed by the International Care Association for Victims of Wars and Disasters (Al-Ameen) with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, they met with the project director of the association, Dr. Fathi Hezam, and technical expert Dr. Mazen Hammam.
Dr. Hezam and Dr. Hammam provided a comprehensive overview of the services offered by the center, including detailed statistics about the prosthetics program and the Taiz center. They also explained the operations of the center’s departments and the stages involved in manufacturing prosthetic limbs.
