A message of hope from the Alameen: The warmth of humanity illuminates the path for cancer fighters in Taiz.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities, the International Society for the Care of Victims of Wars and Disasters – Al-Amin conducted a humanitarian visit to the National Cancer Institute in Taiz, Yemen, carrying a message of solidarity and hope for every woman bravely fighting the disease.

The visit emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of early detection and breaking the barrier of fear and silence surrounding breast cancer.

During the visit, the team took a symbolic tour of the institute’s departments, presenting symbolic gifts and pink scarves as an expression of support and solidarity. Awareness and guidance sessions were also held on self-examination and the importance of regular checkups.

This event was more than just a visit; it was a humanitarian message of hope, affirming that hope begins with a single step, and that early detection saves lives.
