A meeting between a delegation from the IRVD – AL-Ameen and the Minister of Administrative Development to discuss cooperation in capacity building and national recovery

A delegation from the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims (AL-Ameen) met with the Minister of Administrative Development of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Mohammad Skaf, and his team in Damascus to discuss ways of joint cooperation in capacity building and contributing to national recovery efforts.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed mechanisms for supporting and developing Syrian cadres through the establishment of specialized capacity building centers and the exchange of expertise in training and qualification. This will contribute to enhancing institutional performance and supporting the country’s administrative development process.

Both sides emphasized the importance of integration between the government sector and non-governmental organizations in supporting recovery and reconstruction plans, especially in light of the challenges facing Syria at the present stage. Minister Skaf welcomed the Amin’s initiatives, praising its role in supporting communities and enhancing the competencies of workers in various sectors.

For his part, Dr. Moawia Harsouni affirmed the Amin’s commitment to continuing to work alongside official bodies and civil society to achieve sustainable development and enhance investment in human capital as a fundamental pillar of Syria’s advancement.
