A free neurosurgery campaign restores hope to patients at Damascus Hospital, with support from the King Salman Center
In the operating rooms of Damascus National University Hospital, new chapters of hope are being written. Precise neurosurgical procedures are restoring patients’ ability to move, speak, and regain balance—part of the Neurosurgery Campaign led by the International Association “Al-Ameen”, with generous support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, under the Voluntary Medical Work Program.
The campaign targets critical cases of central nervous system disorders, including brain tumors, spinal disc herniations, and complex neurological deformities. All surgeries are provided completely free of charge, performed by a team of specialized surgeons using advanced techniques that ensure the highest levels of safety and precision.
Here, surgery is not just a medical procedure—it’s a restoration of human dignity and a gateway to a more stable life, free from pain and disability. It’s a humanitarian and medical mission that reflects Al-Ameen’s commitment to supporting the most vulnerable and delivering high-quality care to those who need it most.
