Opening of the Kidney Dialysis Center in Palmyra with Support from Al-Ameen Humanitarian Support Organization

As part of its humanitarian efforts to strengthen healthcare services and meet the medical needs of the population, Al-Ameen Humanitarian Support Organization, under the generous patronage of His Excellency the Syrian Minister of Health, Dr. Mus’ab Al-Ali, and in the presence of the Director of Health in Homs Governorate, Dr. Khaled Al-Homsi, the Director of Palmyra District, and a number of notables and local residents, inaugurated the Kidney Dialysis Center in the city of Palmyra, Homs Governorate, funded generously by the Turkish Health Foundation.The establishment of the center comes in response to the growing health needs in the city of Palmyra and its surrounding areas, providing a specialized service for kidney failure patients that eases the burden of traveling to other cities, and contributes to improving the quality and continuity of healthcare provided to them.The center aims to provide safe and regular dialysis sessions for patients in accordance with approved medical standards, alongside contributing to supporting the local health sector and enhancing its capacity to respond to the medical needs of the population.This project embodies the importance of humanitarian partnership and integration between supporting and implementing bodies and the health sector, in order to reach the most vulnerable communities and provide sustainable health services that contribute to saving lives and improving the quality of life for patients.
