Launching a series of volunteer training programs in Aden to enhance livelihoods, funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
In the temporary capital of Aden, a series of volunteer training programs have been launched as part of a specialized initiative aimed at building community capacity and enhancing sustainable livelihoods. The programs are generously funded by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and implemented by the International Association for the Care of War and Disaster Victims “Al-Ameen.”
The activities include four main programs encompassing nine specialized training projects, with the participation of 45 experienced Saudi volunteers. More than 800 trainees—men and women—benefited from these programs across professional, health, psychological, and administrative fields.
The training projects covered first aid, disaster management, occupational safety and health, and a comprehensive psychosocial support program targeting women, children, and adolescents. They also included specialized courses in Project Management Professional (PMP), secretarial skills, and digital marketing, in addition to vocational workshops in maintenance, air conditioning and refrigeration, and a renovation and repair project.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the International Association “Al-Ameen” to delivering practical, sustainable solutions that empower local professionals, transfer knowledge and expertise, and strengthen institutional performance across vital sectors.
