From Pain to Hope: Al-Hakmani’s Journey with Kidney Failure and the Care That Saved His Life

Hikmani’s journey began eight years ago when he started suffering from high blood pressure, and he spent a long time trying to cope with the symptoms, unaware that his condition would progress and become a greater challenge over time. After years of suffering, he developed acute kidney failure and had to undergo multiple dialysis sessions at Al-Shahr Hospital. Despite the difficulties, he continued treatment, but his condition worsened, requiring him to return to regular dialysis, with an increasing need for specialized services and ongoing support.

With the entry of Hikmani into the Al-Ghayda Hemodialysis Center, supported by the King Salman Center and operated by Al-Ameen International Organization, the medical team found a fully equipped environment providing dialysis sessions, medications, continuous monitoring, along with psychological and social support aimed at improving his quality of life.

Thanks to this support and ongoing treatment, he gradually began to improve, regained some of his abilities, and was able to resume his normal life, sharing time with his family and friends, after the free care he received became a means for his survival from his severe health condition.

Hikmani concluded his story by expressing his deep gratitude to the efforts of the King Salman Center and Al-Ameen International Organization, stating that they were the main reason for his new life. He emphasized that continuous support is what truly makes a difference in patients’ lives.
