About Us:
ALAMEEN for Humanitarian Support is a non -governmental organization established by a group of volunteers in Syria during the crisis in 2012 and registered in the USA, Sweden, and turkey.
ALAMEEN is implementing projects through regional offices in Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Palestine, and Somalia.
Our work sectors are Health, Nutrition, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL), Protection, Shelter &Non-food items, Wash and Sanitation.
ALAMEEN also manages development projects, advocates to empower civil societies and local governance
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis of children’s illnesses from birth to puberty.
- Provide advice to patients or their families regarding nutrition, activity, sterilization, and prevention of diseases and vaccines.
- Collect and save patient information (e.g., medical history, reports, and results of examinations).
- Examine patients and request the necessary laboratory or radiological examinations to help diagnose the pathological condition, develop the appropriate treatment plan, and monitor the development of the condition.
- Explanation of investigation and treatment procedures for patients or their families
- Prescribe treatments, medicines, and what helps treat or prevent diseases.
- Referral of patients to other medical specialties when required.
- Provide medical advice to other doctors upon request.
- Supervise directly the reports, data, and statistics required by the clinic nurse.
- Personally report cases of infectious diseases or critical acute conditions requiring direct referral to hospitals in cooperation with the medical director.
- Active participation in the scientific activities carried out by the center
- Committing to the protocols and treatment and administrative regulations established by the medical department of the center.
- Commitment to all reports and statistics required by the information officer according to the forms established in the department
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Medicine – Specialization in Pediatrics.
- Two years of experience in Pediatrics, not
- The ability to deal with the Office package
- Good level of English
