In the contest of the activities of “Al-Ameen” for humanitarian support in the field of training and awareness, the nursing team in the town of “Badanli” health center in “Afrin” area in the northern Syria conducted an awareness session entitled “workshop on how to deal with fires” that may occur in health centers and how to deal with them in order to extinguish them Fully.

This awareness session included the following themes:

  1. How to use fire extinguishing cylinders in the event of an emergency fire.
  2. Types of fire extinguishing cylinders and their uses.
  3. How to deal with the place of ignition of the fire, in conjunction with the securing of the paramedic.

At the end of the session, some advice was given on safety methods in case of fire.

End of “supply chain” course.. Yesterday in March 31, the training of “Medical supply chain management” have ended, as part of “Aleppo network” project, which had already held many other training courses supported by “Al-Ameen” for Humanitarian Support supports the work of medical personnel through this training project.

This course was held in the city of “Azaz” in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and the aim was to unify the protocol for managing medical warehouses and pharmacies according to modern standards approved by the world health organization “WHO”, with the aim of promoting medical and pharmaceutical work in the liberated areas in Syria. This training also targeted forty trainees, and by the end of “supply chain” course, another course on the same topic is scheduled to begin on the 4th of this month.

“Aleppo network” project is one of the projects which established by “Al-Ameen” in the northern countryside of Aleppo to train medical personnel in the region and raise their professional, scientific and operational level. The project has previously held several training courses in the city of Azaz during the past two months, including training of “Minimum standards for reproductive health services protocols”, and training of complaints management and beneficiaries’ satisfaction.

By the increasing of population numbers in “Afrin” area in the far northwest of Syria, the needs are urgent for medical care to reach every village and every town even if the infrastructure is not ready for this matter. From this standpoint, “Al-Ameen” for humanitarian support has activated mobile clinics that can reach far areas that require constant medical attention, and among those mobile clinics, the mobile clinic in “Bulbul” village.

Bulbul mobile clinic provides medical services to the people of the region and the displaced in it, as “Al-Ameen” teams provide medical examinations and consultations, provide medicines and supplementary food for children, as well as educate and guide mothers, especially in light of the current health situation in light of the Coronavirus pandemic, as well as refer reviewers to specialized medical centers according to the situation and need.

The clinic provided nearly 2770 services during the last February, and the number of medical consultations in Bulbul Mobile Clinic reached 1106 services, distributed between 496 males, 610 females, and the clinic provided various nursing services amounting to 52 services. High blood pressure was at the top of the list of diseases that the center dealt with, with a rate of 39 cases, followed by diabetes with 31

 

 
Training_course

Training course entitled “Nursing Care for COVID_19 19 Patients” in Afrin

Al-Ameen for Humanitarian Support held a training course entitled “Nursing Care for COVID_19 19 Patients” in Afrin Syria. 

The course focused on several points, (nursing care, oxygen titration for cases in need, in addition to the clinical algorithm for COVID19 patients, and the prevention by reducing socialize and preserving social distance. This series of awareness-raising training is provided by Al-Ameen Association to its staff in Syria Yemen Lebanon Sudan and Turkey,

in accordance with the Al-ameen vision of empowering, capacity building, and having the experience for the staff 

 

 

 

Building Al-Amin School

Building Al-Amin School

Our teams are leaving no stone unturned as they intensify their efforts to finish building  Al_Ameen school in Raju, which is a town in Afrin, Syria. to provide the learning opportunity to more than 700 students from the 7th until the 12th grade. The school will contain 8 classes and an administration room, along with a 200 square meters playground in addition to other facilities such as restrooms and more. The team is working now to provide the school with the necessary furnishing and electricity, hoping to finish the work as soon as possible.

 

 

 

 
Repairing Schools Of Afrin

Repairing schools of Afrin

Al-Ameen teams have begun a reconstruction and repairing campaign aiming at preparing the largest number of schools in Afrin city and its surroundings, bearing in mind the difficult weather conditions in winter and how it might affect the schools. The campaign included several repairing works, especially roofs isolation, and until now the teams managed to accomplish the required repairs in 216 classes in 30 schools in Afrin and Jinderis, and will continue to work to cover the total of 517 classes in 62 schools with the capacity of 27,392 students.
