“Al Himma” school for mobility disabled .. The lives of children with mobility disabilities constitute a fundamental concern and an increasing concern of “Al-ameen Organization”, as the need to support their special needs increases, especially in light of the difficult living conditions facing them, the spread of diseases and epidemics, and facing the second wave of the emerging corona virus pandemic.

Accordingly, a team from the center for prosthetics and rehabilitation in “Saioun” in the Hadramawt governorate, eastern Yemen, this morning visited “Al Himma” school for mobility disabled in Hadramout valley, to examine cases that need physical therapy and orthodontic support.

The visit also aimed at assessing the needs of children with mobility disabilities and exploring the possibility of supporting them and providing their requirements, in order to reintegrate these children into society to be individuals who contribute to building their future and the future of their families. The team of the center visits many disabled children every day, whose number exceeds 50% of the center’s visitors and beneficiaries.

It is worth noting that the center for prosthetics and rehabilitation in Saioun provides free services to children with mobility impairments and to all other beneficiaries, with the support and funding of “KSRelief” and the implementation of “Al-ameen”.

During the month of February, the Center provided nearly 1576 services, distributed to 238 beneficiaries, and the percentage of displaced persons among those beneficiaries was about 19%, while the percentage of residents among the beneficiaries was 81% of the total who received these services.
